A. The business has been in operation for over 50 years. The Arabic Advertising & Publishing Company was founded in 1958 by N. J. Dawood, an Arabic linguist who is renowned for his translations of The Koran and Tales from the Thousand and One Nights. In 1983 the company was re-branded as Aradco. A. The nature of our industry attracts people who are passionate about languages. Most of our employees speak a foreign language as their mother tongue and are accomplished linguists in their own right. This particularly applies to our in-house language departments, which are staffed by mother tongue speakers with the highest professional qualifications.

A. Yes, we have a large in-house translation department covering the major Western European languages, as well as several Asian languages. We also work with a host of freelance translators with whom we have long-term working relationships. This gives us the flexibility to match the right translator with the appropriate expertise to the right project.

A. Aradco is ISO9001 certified. ISO9001 provides the requirements for a quality management system (QMS), which is a framework for an organization to control its processes in order to achieve its objectives, including customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

A. Turnaround time varies depending on the needs of each project. We estimate that each translator can manage between 1,500 to 2,000 words a day. However, turnaround time will also be influenced by the complexity of the text and any other resources that might be needed. We will always do our best to meet your deadline, however tight.
